Interlude
The warm interlude
Of life blows through
Rustle leaves
And flowers fall
The anxious pause
Amid a long life rush
Before it fills.
The silence seeping, the
Quiet pools,
The wonder turned anew
And the big blasts
Hide behind the
Drizzled clouds
That spread a blanket
Over me and you.
It's peaceful here
There's no need for more
Life's enough here
It always was.
Life's enough, as am I
As the folk trickle by
Eyes cast skyward
As they see the world made new.
