Midwinter
This air reaches
Abundance forth,
Green grass 'neath the
Dry sticked forest
New life, New
Life pushes forth
As the days come close to
Midwinter.
Midwinter when nights start to
Shorten, days wet and cool
The land the earth the smell
Rivulets get their nurture
The greatness of
Your life
Before you.
A life where the rains come
Darkness' shroud works her
Wonder, the moon settling back
To new. Cold nose a
Black button.
It's warmer in the water
Than out. Things are
Topsy turvy
Filled with
Promise.
